Austin Chinese Church Wedding Photographer

David and Annie are the first to get married at Austin Chinese Church’s new Ming Dao building. As an Austin wedding photographer, I’ve been to many wedding venues, but this one stands out to me because I am also a member of Austin Chinese Church. When David first asked me to photograph their wedding here, I was honored and excited for the opportunity.

This wedding was beautifully simple and a joy to shoot. My favorite part was when David and Annie saw each other for the first time. Even though they had seen each other already earlier in the day, they hadn’t seen each other’s wedding attire until this moment. It was amazing because they could hardly contain it. The sight of each other made them completely giddy and filled with smiles all around.

They are contagious like that, and it spread to everyone in attendance all night long. Their reception featured Mochi from Frozen Rickshaw, their favorite food, Chipotle, and Smilehub Photobooth. This was my first time seeing Chipotle at a wedding, but I hope it’s not my last!
