A: Choosing a wedding photographer is a special process that should be unique to you. First, make sure to have a meeting with your potential wedding photographer. There are countless lists on the internet that tell you what kind of questions you need to ask, but I’d encourage you to throw that out the window. Be yourself, imagine spending the entire day with them on your wedding, and get to know your photographer as a person. We have feelings too, you know! If at the end of your meeting you feel comfortable with your photographer, they are professional, and you LOVE their work, then go with your gut.Q: We’re not used to having a camera in our face, can you still work with us?
A: Of course! Many of my clients have said they working with me was easier and more comfortable than expected. I typically spend some time getting you comfortable in front of the camera. Engagement sessions are a perfect time to break the ice and get a feel of what it’s like to work with me!Q: How many photographers should we have at our wedding?
A: This will depend on the number of guests you have, but in MOST cases, I recommend at least two photographers. If you are having a smaller wedding with less than 100 people, then you may be able to squeeze by with one photographer. In this case, make sure your wedding timeline doesn’t have overlapping events so your photographer can be there for both events.
Q: What does Day 7 mean?
A: Day 7 is a reference to the story of creation in the Bible where God created the world and everything in it, then on the 7th day he rested and enjoyed his creation. The name DAY 7 is about slowing down and enjoying the world around us. You can read more about that here.Q: How do I contact you?

To officially book your wedding date, a contract and 30% deposit are required.Q: Who is the lead photographer at Day 7 Photography?
A: The lead photographer is me, Sean Hsueh, but occasionally I work with a few trusted photographers. These are photographers that I have built a strong relationship with and trust with just about anything.Q: Will we get featured in a magazine or blog?
A: Although many of our sessions do get featured, this is not something that is guaranteed. Most publishers are interested in colorful, uniquely designed weddings!Q: Do I have to order prints through you?
A: We highly recommend ordering prints through our professional vendors, but it is not required. The difference in quality is HUGE when it comes to ordering through a local printer and a professional lab, so we encourage clients to let us help with prints! Prints can be purchased through my client galleries.
