One of the joys in my job is seeing the unique marks of love in every couple. No wedding is the same, and each wedding is a representation of that love. It’s showed in different cultures coming together, new families merging as one, and the embrace of unexpected surprises. This embrace makes each wedding real and unique, and I love seeing different cultures come together to celebrate.

From Vicki:

“[The wedding day] was filled with excitement, anxiety, a few moments of panic when certain details did not go according to plan! It never occurred to me that my bridesmaids would be such a big part of not only my wedding day, but the entire weekend. They made my day so warm, memorable, and fun. I was also filled with emotion when it came to anything having to do with my father or my mother. Looking back, it was hilarious to see both my father and mother collected and happy while I was the one breaking down in tears! By the end of the night, I realized that everything really did come together beautifully and felt so blessed to be surrounded by so many loved ones.

What I felt was so unique about my wedding was the cultural mesh between Chinese and Mexican people. I had some traditional Chinese relatives come in from out-of-town, some all the way from Hong Kong, while I had some of my husband’s relatives come from Mexico. It was very touching to see everyone getting along fine and to see my relatives extend their welcome to my husband.”
