Vanessa and Yung are both from Seattle, but decided to have their wedding in Portland as a mini-destination wedding. It was the perfect getaway with just the right people. Their friendship started with a mutual disliking towards each other, but that changed as Yung patiently pursued and surprised her with his true self. They were more alike than they thought – and over time, their love for God, the earth, and their community has united them as one.

From Vanessa’s words:

“Since we only had four months to plan and prep for the ceremony and celebration, we had to simplify and delegate our eco-friendly details to our many talented friends!  This ranged from the digital invites, to the projected programs, to the organ scroll ‘table runners’ procured from goodwill, to the compostable dirtcup desserts, to the rented cafe lighting, vases and decorative guest and altar trees.  From behind the bridal loft curtains, we really enjoyed observing all these details come together to form our overall vision!”

“We have been so blessed by our dear family and community. We wish we could do it again and again, and spend more time with each guest!  These photos help capture the warmth and emotion of our beautifully grey pacific northwest wedding!”

Gorgeous pix of a very special couple on a very special occasion… so glad to see these! Congrats and much love and all of life’s blessings to you both…

Thank you Sean, for your calm demeanor during our superfun, albeit time-crunched photo sessions (everything was captured so beautifully, even though “we don’t do kissy photos”! 😉 During the celebration, you were everywhere at once! Amazing! THANK YOU!

It was my pleasure Vanessa! You and Yung were so fun to work with, and I loved your wedding. Thanks for the opportunity!
